Since the company started in 1996, Rigrun now has years of experience in the supply, maintenance and refurbishment of Drill String Compensators, Riser Tensioners , Active Heave Systems and Motion Compensation Systems. Over the years we have gained experience with the service and repair of : Vetco, Shaffer ,Brown Brothers, Western Gear, Retsco and Houston Systems.

We are able to supply our own design of 16K and 80K Tensioner Systems and Drill String Compensators with a 400/600 upgrade available.

While refurbishment work is mainly carried out at our purpose built premises just outside Aberdeen, our engineers have travelled the globe to carry out maintenance work where ever required.

Our services also include the re-chroming of Cylinder Rods, Hot oil flushing of Hydraulic Systems and the supply of HP/ LP Air / Oil filtration units.

Design

We are able to supply our own design of 16K and 80K Tensioner Systems and have designed and manufactured speciality chains suitable for most systems.

While refurbishment work is mainly carried out at our purpose built premises just outside Aberdeen, our engineers have travelled the globe to carry out maintenance work where ever required.

All drawings are created by our in house design team for 2D and 3D drawings using Auto Desk Inventor and Auto CAD Software.
