Drill String Compensator Leaf Chain
Rigrun Europe Ltd are proud to announce the availability of their newly developed 2.75" - 600 Kip DSC leaf chain. Designed, manufactured, tested and certified to design code API 8C (Specification for Drilling and Production Hoisting equipment), chain links are held in stock and are assembled into measured lengths as required.The chain has been developed in conjunction with a leading UK based chain manufacturer, established over 30 years ago.
Some of the features of the chain are as follows:
PINS
- Made from high grade quality steel produced in the U.K.
- The pins are through hardened to give optimum tensile and sheer strength and then induction hardened to give greater resistance to wear.
PLATES
- Made from high grade quality plate steel milled in the U.K.
- Produced in the U.K. specifically to our requirements.
- Using the most up-to-date laser technology to ensure very accurate and consistent profile shaping together with a better quality surface finishing.
- Plates are through hardened to ensure maximum tensile strength .
- To ensure accurate alignment pin holes are hone bored, which also gives a higher quality surface finish.
CHAIN FINISH
- All pins and plates are coated using Zi-Co anti-corrosion treatment. This gives a heavy duty aluminium zinc coating which also incorporates P.T.F.E. to aid a longer wear life.
- The ZiCo coating can increase the life of chain by up to 5 times that of a standard chain in a corrosive atmosphere.
