Hydraulic 500 Tonne Press
Rigrun Europe Ltd has a purpose built facility on the outskirts of Aberdeen to compliment our growing domestic and overseas markets. Having been involved in the oil and gas industry for over 10 years, Rigrun are regularly requested to refurbish offshore equipment, for example, for it’s five-yearly maintenance programme. Due to the harsh offshore environment the equipment has to endure, many parts are almost impossible to
strip without a mechanical aid - pins and fasteners are seized and steelwork corroded. With the need to return the equipment back to OEM standards as quickly as possible, Rigrun has designed and manufactured it’s own 500 tonne hydraulic press. The press is also easily disassembled should it be required on-site.
