About us
RigRun is a global health, safety and wellbeing company specialising in remote and isolated workforces.
We understand remote, high-risk worksites from the inside out.
RigRun specialise in remote and isolated workforces where physical demands, psychological pressure and operational risk intersect every day. These are not conventional workplaces, and they cannot be supported by generic corporate wellness solutions.
Our team brings together expertise across sport and exercise science, psychology, occupational health, digital innovation, finance, communications and operations – united by a single mission: keeping crews healthy, connected and safe in the world’s most demanding environments.
With over 25 years of combined, on-site experience designing and delivering bespoke health and wellbeing solutions directly on remote and isolated worksites, our team has worked alongside many of the world’s leading operators and contractors over the past decade – including Seadrill, Noble, Chevron, DOF – supporting crews through multiple operational and economic cycles.
This depth of experience is our differentiator. We understand the realities of long deployments, harsh physical conditions, night-shift work, fatigue accumulation, loneliness and separation from family. We also understand how these factors affect decision-making and safety performance – and how preventative, site-appropriate interventions can reduce risk before harm occurs.
You can build software anywhere, but you can’t replicate decades of experience earned on the world’s toughest worksites. That’s why RigRun exists – for every crew, every body, every reason.
"Our team has undertaken postgraduate training at MIT across digital health innovation, artificial intelligence, machine learning and entrepreneurship."
Louise Martin, CEO & Founder of RigRun
RigRun combines real-world operational insight with rigorous science. We work with academic partners to validate outcomes using statistically significant data, ensuring our approach stands up to scrutiny from HSE leaders, ESG stakeholders and investors alike.
RigRun remains at the forefront of preventative workforce health and safety.
Meet the Team
At RigRun, our team combines expertise in sport, exercise, wellbeing, and operational excellence to support clients across challenging environments worldwide. From coaching and psychology to finance, communications, and operations, we are united by a shared mission:
keeping your crews healthy and onboard.
The values we champion for remote worksites start with our own team. In our warehouse, we proudly employ individuals from chronically underemployed groups, as well as young people seeking to gain experience and build confidence after gaps in their CV. By providing meaningful work and opportunities, we help them develop skills and secure references for future employment.
In our office, we prioritise family-friendly contracts, allowing caregivers to put their families first while maintaining a fulfilling career. This commitment to inclusivity, flexibility, and support reflects our belief that a strong, diverse team begins with empathy and understanding.
RigRun Founder & CEO, Louise Martin, holds a BSc (Hons) in Health Science from the University of Aberdeen and brings more than 12 years of first-hand experience working on remote worksites worldwide, including offshore oil platforms and drilling vessels.

Louise has supported culturally diverse crews across global operations and brings a rare combination of lived experience, scientific expertise and operational credibility.
Her leadership ensures RigRun remains practical, preventative and deeply aligned to the real challenges faced by remote and isolated workforces.
RigRun is trusted by organisations worldwide to support healthier, more resilient teams working in demanding and remote environments.
